Heavy Duty Wheel Guides
A1S Manufacture, Supply and Install heavy-duty wheel guides.
Wheel Guides are installed in front of loading bays to help aid the vehicle driver, carryout loading operations safely and efficiently.
Wheel Guides ensure that the vehicle is central and straight when backing onto the loading bay.
This also ensures that the dock leveller lip is positioned centrally on the vehicle floor and that the Dock Shelter has formed a complete seal around the vehicle.
They also help to prolong the life of Dock shelters by helping to protect against crushing, caused by off centring.
A1S Heavy-duty wheel guides are constructed from 168mm O.D. steel tube with 90-degree bends at each end which 300mm square x 10mm thick base plates are welded to.
Our wheel guides can be bolted to the driveway using 20mm resin fixing bolts alternatively they can be cast into the driveway.
A1S wheel guides are finished in hardwearing polyurethane coating, which is Aztec yellow BS 10E 55
Dock Bumpers
Dock bumpers provide good protection against vehicle impact to the dock front.
Bumpers are rectangular with a high impact polyethylene yellow face to withstand daily punishment.
They have high visibility to help driver’s align trailers more accurately.
L-shaped bumpers are available where a wider docking area is required.

Width x height 250 x 450mm, depth 115 or 150mm.
L-shaped bumper
Width x height 450 x 450mm, depth 100mm.
Traffic Lights
A1S Traffic lights help to increase safety during loading/unloading operations, by providing controlled movement of vehicles.
The traffic light can be wired into the controls of the door or sensors, to activate when the door is operated. The light turns red when the door is opened and when fully closed the green light is displayed.
The traffic lights have low energy consuming LED’s (Light emitting diodes).
