A1S offer a wide range of industrial
shutters to provide an effective security solution for all types
of industrial premises. From new industrial units to factory extensions
or refurbishments, these traditional hand chain and electric roller
shutters are manufactured on-site at the A1S base in the North West.
For lower budget projects we
can offer our traditional single skin steel lath, although our premium
range of industrial shutters have twin skinned insulated lath in
addition to all the features of the traditional steel roller shutters.
Available in a wide range of colours and sizes, they provide excellent
security protection for industrial environments.
Built to comply to BS-EN 13241,
our range is fully guaranteed for 12 months and comes in a wide
range of colours and sizes - plus there’s technical back up
and contract assistance from the A1S team throughout.

Barrel
For openings up to 5m wide.
Constructed from 127mm outside
diameter x 120mm inside diameter steel tube with helicoil counter
balance spring(s), mounted on 25mm bright steel shaft, with mild
steel bearing blocks at each end.
Incorporating high speed bearings.
For 5m and over 139mm O/D x 126mm I/D tube.

- one coat of black paint.

Operation
By means of 1/2 H.P. up to 2 H.P. geared motor complete with rotary
limits and emergency hand mechanism.

Gearing
By means of continuous galvanised
hand chain, driving mild steel sprockets connected by high speed

Constructed from 75mm wide curved interlocking galvanised single
skin steel lath or 85mm wide flat interlocking insulated double
skinned lath with nylon endlocks, both with galvanised steel bottom
rail.
Side
Guides
Constructed from 65mm or 85mm x 3mm thick galvanised channel. Bolted
to 75mm x 50mm or 100mm x 50mm mild steel angle.
Finish
- One coat of black paint.
