In fact, as this range is ideal for small to medium windows, there's
a growing market for internal applications. That's how unobtrusive
they are to the eye - unlike cheaper and often bulkier alternatives.
A1S's range of built-on shutters are double walled for even greater
protection making them the ideal security solution.

Shutter Housing
Constructed from roll formed
aluminium in two sections - base and box lid. Box lid is removable
for installation and maintenance purposes.
Guide Channel
Constructed from extruded aluminium
with an internal box section for strength and installation complete
with nylon brush seals for smooth operation.
Shutter Curtain
38mm or 55mm double skin extruded
aluminium non-vented lath with lateral movement contained by nylon
ends with a bottom rail and weather seal to suit. Alternatively
vented or non-vented foam filled lath can be used (in 38mm lath
only).
Electrical Operation
The operation is by one of the
following - Single Phase Tubular Motors 240V, Rod Crank or Spring
Assisted.
All motors are supplied by Ellard,
a world leader in shutter automation.

Options
Our standard curtain and guide
colours are white or brown. However, the curtain and guide sections
can be powder coated to any BS or RAL colour you may require to
compliment your specific design.
Technical Points Of
Note
Electrical security shutters
have a minimum width of 560mm (or 730mm with a manual overide).
Spring assisted shutters have a minimum width of 600mm (depending
on shutter height).

Health and Safety Machinery Directive, to ensure that all A1S electronically
operated roller shutters carry the CE Mark.

Our installation service adheres
to the same high quality standards. Qualified A1S installation crews
deliver a nation-wide service in accordance with the regulations
and guidance of the Door and Hardware Federation - of which A1S
is an accredited member.

also available on a supply-only basis. This service comes with a
full package of support - including product literature and point-of-sale
material - to ensure the requirements of each application are fully
