extensive stock of materials, we can offer an impressive range of
bar shutters ideally suitable for projects such as kiosks, serveries
and of course bars where vision is sometimes a necessity. Our range
of bar shutters are extremely appealing on the eye and outclass
other systems with their strength and smart appearance.
Unlike most of our competitors,
we can offer our bar shutters in small lath profiles thus reducing
the shutter box sizes dramatically while still retaining high levels
of security.
Our lath profiles consist of
sleek thick aluminium in solid, perforated or punched sections.
The open lath (perforated/punched) allow vision, light and air filtration.
On some profiles we can offer our bar shutters with the added higher
security feature of a double skinned extruded profile and H40s reinforced
extruded guide channels.
As an optional extra the perforated
or punched holes can be protected with inserted lexan (glazed) strips
for 'anti-tamper' maximum security.
All our bar shutters are custom
made to our customers unique requirements and are available in a
polyester powder coated finish to any of our stocked standard BS
or RAL colours.
Operation is by one of the following
- Single Phase Tubular Motors 240V, Rod Crank or Spring Assisted.

Shutter Housing
Constructed from 20swg galvanised steel sheet metal or roll formed
aluminium in two sections - base and box lid. Box Lid is removable
for installation and maintenance purposes.
Barrel
Constructed from 102mm mild steel tube or rigid 60mm/70mm octagonal
tube. Incorporating either tubular motor or spring assembly with
roller bearing non-drive end.
End
Plates
Die-cast aluminium or steel formed to suit shutter weight and box
housing.
Side Guides
Constructed from 60mm/70mm/75mm extruded aluminium with an internal
box section for strength and ease of installation complete with
nylon brush seals for smooth operation.
Operation
Operation is dependent upon
shutter size - by either manual spring assist or electric 240v single
phase tubular motor.
Electrical
Operation
Single phase powered by Ellard tubular motors, 240 volts with 0.5
> 2.5 amps of draw defendant upon shutter size.
Locking Options
With spring assisted shutters either a centre lock, bullet lock
or shoot bolt arrangement is used. For electric shutters, our unique
drive down autolock is fitted as standard.
Installation
Installation is carried out by our own fully trained fitting teams.

To comply with the supply of machinery (safety) regulations 1992.
All powered shutters are CE Marked.
Electrical
Optional Extras
Emergency manual override systems, battery back up units, key switches,
key pads, remote controls and photo cells.
Finish Options
Shutters can be powder coated
